Celebration of New Works!
By Aviva Robinson
Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital | May 19th, 2010
Inspired by her involvement with the Healing Arts Program at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, Aviva created 12 new works of art for the first time in more than 7 years and donated them to the health system. A Celebration of New Works was an event to honor Aviva & Jack Robinson and thank them for donating over 30 of Aviva’s works to the health system over the past three years.
The event began with a special one night only exhibit of Aviva’s 12 new works in the Ravitz Foundation Main Atrium. Guests enjoyed cocktails & Hors d’oeuvres while viewing Aviva’s artwork. The event continued with remarks from President and CEO of the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, Gerard van Grinsven, a special viewing of a video of Aviva speaking about her work, and a special performance by the group 3 Men and a Tenor.
